About Just Parley

I kept hitting the same problem — Apple's built-in dictation would fail in half the apps I used daily. Slack, VS Code, Notion — nothing worked reliably. So I built something that does.

Just Parley is a simple idea: hold a key, speak, and your words appear wherever your cursor is. It works in every app because it uses the clipboard — no native text input APIs to break. And it runs entirely on your Mac, so your voice never touches a server.

The speech model (SenseVoice) was chosen specifically because it handles English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Cantonese well — languages I work with and care about getting right.

There's no subscription, no cloud dependency, no data collection. You pay once, it's yours. That's it.
