Hold a key, speak, and your words appear directly in your Word document. No plugin, no Dictate ribbon, no internet. Just Parley works where Word's built-in voice typing doesn't.
Can you send me the updated report by end of day?
Almost done — I'm dictating the last section into Word right now. I'll email it to you within the hour.

English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Cantonese. Write multilingual documents without switching tools.
Just Parley isn't limited to Word. It works in Google Docs, Pages, Notion, email, chat — anywhere you can type.
Word's Dictate button requires Microsoft 365 and an internet connection. Just Parley works without either.
No server round-trip. Transcription happens on your Mac's CPU in about 70ms.
Cantonese support and better accuracy for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
Not just Word — use it in Google Docs, Pages, Notion, email, Slack, and hundreds more.
Microsoft Word for Mac has a Dictate button, but it requires a Microsoft 365 subscription and an active internet connection — your voice is sent to Microsoft's servers for processing. On slower connections, there's noticeable lag. And if you're using a standalone version of Word (not 365), the Dictate feature may not be available at all. Just Parley sidesteps all of these issues: it runs a local speech model, works offline, and pastes via the clipboard into Word or any other app.
